Runic is one of my most prized pieces; I adore it so much. For this design, I painted each background on canvases for each box and then scanned them in.

As for the logo and names of each scent, I used actual runes to create the logo, breaking them apart and reconstructing them to mimic the English language. The logo on top of the boxes is made entirely from authentic runes. The names of the scents are words taken from the Greek language and Greek mythology.

Thalassa means sea. Dryad refers to a female nymph or spirit in Greek mythology who lives in and protects trees. Finally, Kosmos means an orderly arrangement.

Now, all of these are pretty self-explanatory except for Kosmos. I had trouble finding a gem-themed word in Greek mythology, so I chose Kosmos instead. I selected it because it perfectly describes gems and geodes, in my opinion. They are so perfectly and beautifully arranged by nature that you would think each crystal was individually and carefully placed.
